Manager Strategic Sourcing
Job Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
The Manager – Strategic Sourcing is responsible in developing the strategic planning/sourcing process for various indirect spend categories by defining and executing strategic sourcing goals, develop and identify approach and initiatives to support Walmart Canada’s strategies and reduce total cost of ownership from across several functional areas, including, Loss Prevention, Marketing, ISD, Supply Chain and other areas to be identified to leverage the scale of Walmart Canada’s spend.
Demonstrate persuasive leadership skills in influencing senior business executives and departments to follow Walmart Canada procurement policies in order to allow for competitive market tenders and cost containment, while ensuring that the initiatives are timely executed.
Collaborate with cross functional management teams to identify and develop the Road Map of key strategic initiatives over the next 3 years. Conduct category/sub-category analysis to develop opportunities from sourcing, demand management, and supplier collaboration efforts.
Continuously monitor market place to provide insights on category spend and savings opportunities based on rigorous data analysis, industry benchmarks and experience. Work with other procurement category teams and business unit leads to deliver committed capital and expense savings targets
Lead the corporate procurement process: Baseline, RFX, quantitative / qualitative analysis, negotiations, total-cost-of-ownership analysis and execution of contracts. Develop and maintain a process by which vendors are evaluated, selected and managed in accordance with established guidelines and best practices (RFI/RFP, Scorecards, Performance Metrics, issue escalation, response processes).
Conduct complex and detailed analyses in support of external supplier negotiations; create supporting materials for the team’s negotiation preparation. Research industry benchmarks in contract to existing practices to find opportunities for improvement (pricing, quality, product changes, service levels, trends).
Conduct strategic supplier relationship management, risk analysis and compliance management programs with regards to indirect category. Create, negotiate and implement Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Statement of Work (SOW) and Vendor Agreements (VA) within the contract.
Conduct performance tracking methods of strategic initiative measuring effectiveness against KPIs and compliance while providing regular cadence of reporting to internal stakeholders.
Manage a team of analysts developing roles and responsibilities of the team and establishing development and career plans.

Must be able to travel across Canada and Internationally.
Highly organized and able to work on multiple initiatives ensuring timely execution of procurement strategies.
