Search Marketing Analyst

Job Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada

Position Summary

Responsible for day to day build and optimization initiatives of Walmart’s search marketing program. This role will work closely with the Manager of Search Marketing to build and optimize search campaigns. They will be responsible for developing keyword lists, extensions and search ads.

Postion Responsibilities
Build, optimize and expand search marketing campaigns to meet business goals with maximum ROI
Analyze and provide recommendations for search program enhancements
Manage key metrics reports to gauge success of campaigns (i.e. post marketing contribution, bounce rates, conversion)
Develop search marketing campaigns with relevant keywords and ad copy.
Run tests on adcopy, keywords, bid strategies and landing pages to improve results
Participate in industry training to understand best practices, share best practices with the greater eCommerce team
Work with major search engines to help optimize program and reach goals
Work with merchandising team to quickly gain consumer understanding of new programs and brands as they become available on

Strong background with manual bid process
Strong Excel skills
Strong understanding of Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Omniture
Strong analytical ability
Excellent communication (Bilingual is a strong asset to have) and team skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor’s Degree required
3-5 years of experience required
