Item File Administrator

Job Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada

Position Summary
To ensure timely and accurate creation and maintenance of Import/ Domestic items and purchase orders through the Merchandise Procurement Application, Online Item File and Host application.
To support Merchandising team in all aspects of Item File.

Walmart Division

Postion Responsibilities
Proof, log, cancel, revise & create Import/Domestic purchase orders/items in the Import, Online and Host application.
Create & maintain all Replenishment item Templates in the Host, Online and Import system.
Liaison between all Buyers, Replenishment & Global Procurement Division.
Assist Domestic Importers, Vendors and Buyers to establish accurate store costs on item offerings.
Oversee all Import Item and PO transactions between Import & Host systems.
Assist & resolve Import Item/PO opportunities in liaison with other support divisions – UPC Hotline, Global Procurement, Hudd/Maersk, Global Procurement, Merchandising etc.
Assist & temporarily assume Coordinator functions within other areas of IMD during peak season &/or vacations.
General clerical duties – filing, sorting & labeling.
Ability to perform Ad-Hoc analysis as required using Microsoft Excel, MPA and Retail Link.
Other duties as required.

Community College Certificate/Diploma and/or 3-5 years merchandising or store experience.
Proficient computer skills – Retail Link, Intermediate Excel, Outlook and Host.
Strong Keyboard and Accurate Data Entry skills required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a high volume workload.
Substantial attention to detail is necessary.
Strong decision making, problem solving and organizational skills required.
Ability to provide a high level of Customer Service to internal and external associates
